Become a licensed real estate agent in Las Vegas
Are you interested in becoming a licensed real estate agent in Las Vegas? If so, there are a few steps you need to take to achieve this goal. First and foremost, you must meet the formal requirements set forth by the state of Nevada.
To become a licensed real estate agent in Las Vegas, you must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. You must also complete 90 hours of pre-licensing education from an approved provider. This education covers topics such as real estate principles, practices, and law.
Once you have completed your pre-licensing education, you must pass the Nevada Real Estate Salesperson Exam. This exam consists of 140 multiple-choice questions and covers topics such as property ownership, contracts, and financing. You must score at least 75% to pass the exam.
After passing the exam, you must submit an application for a real estate salesperson license to the Nevada Real Estate Division. You will need to provide proof of your pre-licensing education, exam results, and a background check. Once your application is approved, you will receive your real estate salesperson license.
