Are you interested in becoming a licensed real estate agent in Atlanta? If so, there are a few steps you need to take to achieve this goal. First and foremost, you must meet the formal requirements set forth by the state of Georgia.
To become a licensed real estate agent in Atlanta, you must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. You must also complete a 75-hour pre-license course approved by the Georgia Real Estate Commission. This course covers topics such as real estate law, finance, and contracts.
Once you have completed the pre-license course, you must pass the Georgia Real Estate Salesperson Exam. This exam consists of 152 multiple-choice questions and covers topics such as property ownership, contracts, and real estate finance. You must score at least 75% to pass the exam.
After passing the exam, you must submit an application for a real estate license to the Georgia Real Estate Commission. You will also need to provide proof of errors and omissions insurance and pay a fee.
