Become a licensed architect in Las Vegas

To become a licensed architect in Las Vegas, you must first obtain a professional degree in architecture from an accredited institution. This typically involves completing a five-year Bachelor of Architecture program or a four-year Bachelor of Science in Architecture program followed by a two-year Master of Architecture program. It is important to ensure that the program you choose is accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB).

After completing your degree, you must gain practical experience by working under a licensed architect for a certain number of years. In Nevada, this requirement is three years of experience. Once you have completed your practical experience, you must pass the Architect Registration Examination (ARE).
