Become a certified mediator in Michigan
To become a certified mediator in Michigan, there are several steps that need to be taken. First, an individual must complete a 40-hour mediation training program that is approved by the Michigan State Court Administrative Office (SCAO). This training program covers topics such as conflict resolution, communication skills, and negotiation techniques.
