ENFJ Cognitive Functions

ENFJs are guided by their dominant function, extraverted Feeling, which influences their psyche in all matters related to people. They tend to make decisions on behalf of their loved ones, and seek closure in interpersonal relationships. With their outgoing personality, ENFJs have a wide range of acquaintances, but true friendships are rare and valuable to them. They prioritize intense and personal face-to-face interactions.

Extraverted Feeling

ENFJs possess a powerful combination of dominant Extraverted Feeling and auxiliary Introverted Intuition. This grants them a unique insight into the inner world and unconsciousness. These individuals have a natural inclination to see the good in people, and their circle of friends is ever-expanding. However, in some cases, ENFJs can become unbalanced and compromise their integrity. Yet, when utilized correctly, their intuition allows them to understand the needs and desires of others, enabling them to form strong relationships, influence people, and avoid complications. Driven by their intuition, ENFJs are always on the lookout for new and innovative solutions that can benefit their family, staff, or organization. They are constantly seeking ways to improve and refine their projects, and their energy and enthusiasm are infectious.

Introverted iNtuition

Extraverted Sensing is the dominant function of ENFJs, allowing them to handle details necessary for executing their vision. However, their perception of sensory information can be flexible and even magical, allowing them to acquire things at a bargain and later sell them for a higher value. It is believed that this influence comes from their primary function. Their tertiary function, which is less mature, enables them to possess this wavering sensory perception.

Extraverted Sensing

ENFJs exhibit a less apparent and elusive Introverted Thinking function. Its manifestation occurs primarily when Feeling calls for its presence, in jest or earnest. In this type, Thinking only considers conclusions that align with Feeling's values, showing all other scenarios as invalid or significantly inferior. Though it has the appearance of logic, it never seems to add up entirely. ENFJs often focus on their spiritual quest through Introverted Thinking. This function receives homage in the longest psalm, 119, where it's referred to as "law," "precept," "commandment," and "statute" - the very essence of inner thinking and mysteries of Deity that the great Feeler's soul sought after.
