In April I got to speak at a great job board\/hiring marketplace conference in Barcelona called Rec Buzz organized by AIM Group – AIM’s a global business intelligence service covering automotive, real estate, recruitment and horizontal marketplaces and classifieds segments. by\u00a0Damian Shore<\/a>\u00a0|\u00a0Apr 15, 2024\u00a0|\u00a0Recruitment<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n BARCELONA \u2014 According to\u00a0Robert Kowalski<\/a>, co-founder and CEO of Palo Alto, California-based\u00a0Gyfted<\/a>, recruitment is the world\u2019s most inefficient supply chain.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Gyfted matches individuals with \u201cremote non-technical jobs that fit your personality.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n He characterized job search as \u201crepetitive and long \u2014 it sucks.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe all hate recruiting,\u201d he added.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Kowalski further noted that \u201cThe number of low-quality job applications by AI agents is exploding; captchas worsen the candidate experience; CVs are garbage \u2014 just noise; job descriptions are sales and PR noise, wish lists.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n He characterized the space between job boards, recruitment agencies, and assessment providers as the \u201crecruitment Bermuda triangle.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n He said that what companies should be assessing in candidates was their potential, while managers\/recruiters also needed to figure out what they truly cared about<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Kowalski said that Gyfted was creating a frictionless process for job matching that made the process \u201cas fun as Duolingo,\u201d adding that AI-led matching \u201cneeds really high-quality data.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n He envisaged a process where candidates received a message that told them: \u201cYou\u2019re invited for an interview with this company.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThis is what candidates actually want and this is what Gyfted is actually working on.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Kowalski was speaking at Rec Buzz\u2019s pre-conference AI Deep Dive Day.<\/em>” — reprinted from here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n AIM also published a report “Gyfted: Assessments, gamification for remote roles across the globe<\/a><\/em>“<\/p>\n\n\n\n
